Based on writer/director Adewale Akkinuoye-Agbaje’s childhood, Farming is the story of a young Nigerian boy, ‘farmed out’ by his parents to a white British family in the hope of giving him a better life. Instead, he becomes the feared leader of a white skinhead gang.

“Akinnuoye-Agbaje is a strong imagemaker. I’m very curious to see his next behind-the-camera project.” - Josh Slater-Williams, Sight & Sound

“Told with raw emotion and lurid violence, it transforms elements of his life story into a disturbing, eye-opening coming of age drama.” - Allan Hunter, Screen International
