Afro-Mic Productions Seeks Northern Irish People to Take Part in Christmas Documentary

30 Sep 2020

Belfast based television company, Afro Mic Productions seek participants to share memories of Christmas, for a brand new documentary celebrating 60 years of Christmas in Northern Ireland.

The one hour documentary entitled Our Christmas, promises to be a feel good programme which will include couples, friends and families of all ages re-living memories from Christmases past - and producers are keen to hear from those interested in taking part while sharing their Christmas videos and memories from across the decades.

Maybe you, your mum or gran still talk about favourite festive seasons from the 1960s, 70s, 80s or 90s, or perhaps the whole family had a few cracker Christmases more recently which they’d all like to share again?

Casting Producer of Our Christmas, Kerry Reid said, 'We can’t wait to find some of the best Christmas stories out there, and want to hear from people who have Christmas home videos and photos that they’re willing to share with us and our viewers. Remember videoing the kids racing downstairs to see if Santa had been and left the latest toy? Cramming around the table for Christmas dinner? Dad sleeping off the Christmas pudding? And gathering around to watch Christmas movies? No matter what your story, we would love to hear all about it!'

Managing Director of Afro-Mic Productions, Emma Rosa-Dias said “This will be such a fun and joyous programme to take part in, as we will also be recounting moments in Christmas history – remember the Co-Op Santa sleigh, Christmas shopping at Leisure World and the annual grand reveal of Anderson & McCauley’s Christmas window display! There will be tons of nostalgia as we also take a look back at Christmas number 1s, Christmas movies and more recently, the battle of the best Christmas adverts!”

The production process will be contactless as the production team adhere to strict coronavirus filming guidelines, so if you’re interested in finding out more, please get in touch via email casting@afromicproductions.com or on 07946 234766
