THE
NERVE CENTRE
During the festival, The Nerve Centre functions as the
hub of all activity and serves as a meeting place for Festival guests,
filmmakers and film goers. Whatever your requirements, whether its workshops,
information, somewhere to hang out or simply something to eat, the Nerve
Centre is the place.
Described as ‘One of the most dynamic and innovative multi-media
centres in the British Isles’ (NIFC), it has acted as a nucleus
for fusing ambitions, attitudes, abilities and aspirations, encouraging
people of all ages and backgrounds to articulate themselves through creative
technology.
The Oscar nominated centre is now housed in a new state of the art building
containing a multitude of edit suites, rehearsal and recording studios,
our in-house animation and film production companies as well as a performance
venue, bar, coffee house (Cafe Nervosa) and art house cinema.
The Nerve Centre is undoubtedly one of the key dynamics fuelling the arts
and digital media sectors of Northern Ireland.
